Hello everyone,

 

We’re all looking forward to the blast that will be Montreal in ten day's time  -  the last of our 2022 Marillion Weekends. 

 

After that, we take a break with our families over the summer before returning to the road in September/October/November in the UK, France, Germany and The Netherlands for the 'An Hour Before It's Dark’ tour.

Thank you as ever for all your support. We are constantly amazed at your response to our music but the new album - which really comes into its own live - has been embraced beyond our expectations.

 

Those of you who were in Lisbon, would have witnessed the incredible Luis Jardim play percussion with the band and we are pleased to announce that Luis has agreed to join us for the whole "An Hour Before It's Dark" Tour this year from September onwards. Luis played the percussion (shakers, congas, bongos, tambourines AND COW BELL) on “AHBID” and it’s quite something to have him along with us on stage to elevate the groove. Having heard him in Lisbon, we couldn’t let him go!

 

Over the years, Luis has worked extensively on projects produced by Trevor Horn, and has also contributed to the work of artists almost too numerous to mention but, to name a few: Seal, Grace Jones, George Michael, Asia, Yes, Sir Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Duran Duran, ...and h’s Ice Cream Genius album  :-)

 

Onwards and upwards to Montreal then, where we know the reaction will be incredible as it always is.

 

Next year's Marillion Weekends will hopefully be announced in the next few weeks so you better get ready, get ree-aady!
