Keep The Noise Down

Hello luvs. Phew, what a warm summer!. On behalf of the band I'd like to wish our friends in Spain many congratulations on winning the World Cup. Commiserations also to our many friends in the Netherlands for making the final and coming so very close. Maybe next time.. I'd better not mention the England team..

Thanks to all who came to our show in Mogliano Veneto, Italy. From where I was standing, you looked like you were having a great night.

For us, it was as fabulous as it was HOT. Our equipment went a bit random in the heat, but it didn't seem to detract from a great atmosphere in the beautiful old town square. Sorry we ran off afterwards without saying hello - we were up early in the morning for the flight home.

See you soon in the UK?.. or Poland ..or Germany?

Well that was a particularly violent world cup final.. looked suspiciously like Mark Kelly was refereeing. Enjoyed our excursion to Italy a couple of weeks back. Very hot, lovely town square, really good audience. It was a little tricky playing on rented equipment with swarms of flying ants buzzing around my head. Looking forward to the next two shows a lot..Leamington and The High Voltage Festival..Might even see my old partner in crime Steve Hackett..Hurrah!!

Well what a summer we're having I really enjoyed both festivals. It's nice to be back to playing live again. No honestly! Two very different festivals so far one in a big field on the outskirts of Madrid with Motorhead trying to shake us off at the other end, and then one in the most beautiful square with the sun trying to kill our gear and crew for that matter. All good memories to take away with us though.

Since then I have been to Antigua, only for a week though, and now I'm back looking forward to the High Voltage festival. Please say hi if you see me, but not while I'm watching Focus.

Pete.
