News From The Road
Brr...it's mighty chilling in Leamington and that wind goes right through you. Everyone in Burnley sounds like Jane Horrocks. We had a fantastic evening so big thanks if you were there. The tour is going very well.

ps (from the bus on the way home from Dublin) Apologies to those in Glasgow without direct view of the stage. I didn't realize on the night that you couldn't see - I thought you were just winding me up about me sitting down/being short.

Hi, I'm off to the States to pick up my finished Jack Dent guitars in January and I'm contemplating giving another of my guitar clinics, probably in New York. Places will be limited so if you're interested email me at steverothery@me.com . If the clinic happens I'll try and arrange a get together in the evening for any fans in the area who fancy meeting up for a drink.

Although I haven't embraced Twitter to the same extent as Mark I do occasionally post photos from the tour on my Facebook page if anyone's interested.

Hello Marilloheads, some of you may be aware that I’ve become slightly obsessed with Twitter of late. It’s a great way for you to see and read about the nitty-gritty behind-the-scenes goings on in the Marillion bubble.
Some people don’t have time for Twitter but use Facebook or MySpace. So I don’t get accused of being a Stephen Fry copy-cat or a Twitter elitist I’ve started posting my exciting nonsense to Facebook and MySpace too. Please become my friend if you want to find out what’s really going on backstage and at the Racket Club.

The gigs are going great but I keep breaking my teeth. We've heard it's going to snow - just in time for Glasgow. Enjoying the tour but can't wait to sleep in my own bed! (and hit some loud drums again!)

As the tour is drawing to a close, I’d like to reflect on how much fun I’ve had, playing these acoustic shows. It’s been great playing some of the more interesting and unusual venues from the theatres of Holland to the cave in Cornwall! Last night in Dublin was also a very special show. I hope you’ve all enjoyed the tour as much as we have and would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
