It May Never Snow Again In England
In an ironic twist, 20 years on from its release the lyrics from Seasons End seemed not to apply last week!

Some of you may have already seen our announcement on our online forums last week, but we felt it was necessary to send an update out to everyone.

For those living in the UK, I'm sure you'll be aware of the situation caused by recent bad weather. For those OUTSIDE the UK, since last Monday most of England was hit by severe blizzard conditions which made it impossible for any of our staff to travel to the Racket Club in its fairly remote rural location. The bad weather returned on Thursday and Friday as well, making Tuesday and Wednesday the only 'accessible' days, albeit with a skeleton staff.

This has meant that many of your emails and questions have not been answered - there has been no one able to get to the offices to answer them! We're not ignoring you, and appreciate your patience and understanding as we get back up to speed.
The weather is also having a knock-on effect for the UK postal service as a result - so at the moment we are experiencing delays in getting your orders collected FROM the Racket Records offices and expect usual delivery to be further delayed due to the back-log at Royal Mail. We would ask you allow an extra 7 days on top of our usual delivery times as a result.

In addition, final Marillion Weekend 2009 payments have been affected and these will also be delayed in many cases by a week (although the majority have now been completed).
We hope everyone will understand that this situation is completely out of our control, and will make every effort to catch up as quickly as possible - we are back at the offices this week, but please bear with us as we attend to emails and queries in the order we have received them...

Other Racket Records Updates
Originally, Steve Rothery announced that the first 1000 pre-ordered copies of the new Wishing Tree album 'Ostara' would be signed by Hannah Stobart and him.
Due to the popularity of the pre-order, these initial copies have already sold out - so Steve and Hannah agreed to sign some more! Now, the first 2000 copies will be signed - but that's about all they can handle, so make sure to get in now before THESE are gone, too.
For more information and to pre-order your signed copy visit www.marillion.com/thewishingtree
Finally, due to some sketchy internet connections on this leg of the tour, the Happiness On The Road Live Series has been delayed - but we have just uploaded another 3 new shows, bringing the running total for 2009 to 6!
Munich and Prague should follow shortly, with more Polish shows to come next week. Check out www.marillion.com/shop/music/hotr.htm for a full list and availability.
