ALBUM DOWNLOAD INFORMATION:
This is the 256kbps download version of The Making Of Brave.
The material on these two discs was recorded between April '92 and September '93. During the writing process a tape recorder is on standby, ready to capture any musical moments that might occur while we jam.
Disc 1 contains a complete demo of the Brave album put together in France prior to recording the real thing.
This album was re-issued in 2001 with a swapped disc 1 and 2, as well as corrected track listing and liner notes, and new artwork - all designed to fit in with the From Dusk 'til Dot series of 'Making Of' albums. These are the only changes in the re-issue; the actual audio remains the same.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
All our 'Making of' albums contain material taken from album writing sessions. The majority material was recorded in stereo only (onto Cassette, DAT, or Mini Disc), and later transferred to computer.
The sound quality varies from track to track, as all these recordings were made solely as a reference for ourselves to use throughout the writing sessions - they were originally made "for our ears only."
We had no control over the balance of individual instruments once recorded, so if some tracks seems excessively noisy, the balance of the instruments is a bit strange, or you hear some odd pops or clicks, it's not a faulty CD!
Please keep this in mind before purchasing this CD.
