This is the 256 kbps download version of 'Marbles by the Sea'.(Please note: the physical CD version is now out of print.)

Keeping in the tradition of previous Marillion Weekends, the 2005 convention featured a complete album performance. However, rather than revisit a previous album, the band decided to play the full double-album version of Marbles knowing that songs like 'Ocean Cloud' and 'The Only Unforgivable Thing' may rarely have another chance to be played live.

The album was played slightly out of sequence, mainly down to the fact that the band were originally unsure if they could even play 'Ocean Cloud' live - when it was evident they could, they decided to leave it out of the main set and use it as a 'surprise' encore.

Please note, this 2CD album (recorded on 11th March 2005 at the Marillion Weekend 2005) is not to be confused with the Marbles Live 1CD retail album (which is the soundtrack from the Marbles on the Road DVD, recorded 10th and 11th July 2004).
