What a fantastic week we had last week. With an amazing response to the Pledge Music launch followed by us winning Live Event at the Prog awards and also my seeing the Ghosts of Pripyat in the inaugural official Progressive Rock top thirty chart!
Work on the new Marillion album is going really well with Mike Hunter helping us to focus and develop our ideas. It really should be something very special.
The Ghosts of Pripyat vinyl version is now available from the Racket online store. It's heavyweight black vinyl presented in a gatefold cover with inner sleeves. The vinyl version also contains a CD version of the album.
After the amazing response we had at the Loreley festival in July I'm going to be playing an extra three European dates with the Steve Rothery Band at the end of October. These will be a bit of a party with us playing some tracks rarely heard these days. Support will be by our great friends Ranestrane.
Work on the Postcards From The Road photo book is progressing well. It's been quite a monumental task to sort through and scan the thousands of images I wanted to choose from but I really wanted the book to be as good as possible as I'm only going to do this once. Thanks to anyone who's ordered it for their patience and understanding.
Best wishes,
Steve
